Ways to Help
Thank you for considering the Humane Society of Weld County as a possible recipient of your charitable gift. We recognize what an important decision it is in selecting an organization or charity with which to make your contributions. We promise to be good stewards of the money you donate, and the best interests of the animals are always taken into account when decisions are made.
We are a community-supported 501 (c) (3) organization, and we are not affiliated with any national animal organization or local government agency. Our mission continues solely through the fees for service, fundraisers, and most importantly on the generosity of those who donate.
The funds received through monetary donations goes towards our continued efforts in providing adequate food, shelter and healthcare for the thousands of animals that come to the Humane Society each year. Please refer to our Shelter Services for more information on how your generosity makes a difference.

Many companies give to charities on an annual basis and encourage their employees to show the same philanthropic attitude. In addition, some companies will offer a match to an employee’s gift, possibly doubling the gift received by the organization. Please contact your employer’s Human Resource department and inquire about a matching gift program. Who knows, maybe you’ll start a trend that pays your generosity forward!
The Humane Society of Weld County is a participant of the Combined Federal Campaign and may be designated as the recipient of your United Way donation. Please write in our United Way # 64962.
Remember us in Your Will: Bequests & Estate Planning
Your generosity can continue in an extraordinary way by remembering the Humane Society of Weld County in your will. A charitable bequest in your will or revocable living trust can help ensure a valuable estate tax deduction. You can choose to give cash, personal or real estate property, or a portion of the estate’s value. Please consult your financial advisor with questions.
