Humane Education Tours & Presentations
Small groups are invited to schedule visits of Humane Society of Weld County. These visits include a guided tour as well as a discussion on responsible pet care. While presentations are tailored towards the educational level of each group, typical topics include: the daily and veterinary care of companion animals, the importance of spay/neuter, and why animals end up at the shelter. Presentations will usually include pet interaction. Our program is offered to children ages 5 years and older.

How to Schedule a Visit:

  1. Call (970) 506-9550 x18
  2. Because of our space constraints we are only able to support groups of 20 or less. Larger groups are welcome to host a presentation at their school.
  3. Tours are scheduled Tuesdays and Fridays 11am-2pm.

These tours and presentations are free, but donations are greatly appreciated. Click here to see our wish list. To plan a donation drive at your school or join in on “Spay Day to Mayday for Mutts”, please click here for more information.
