Public Spay/Neuter Services

We offer spay/neuter services to the public on the third Thursday of the month (drop off/pick up times and pricing information below).  Please call us during our regular business hours at 970-506-9550 to schedule an appointment.  A non-refundable deposit of $20 is required at the time scheduling.  Appointments may be rescheduled by calling at least 24 hours prior to the clinic date.

 

Please note the following:

  • Do not feed your pet after 10:00pm on the evening prior to surgery; water is fine to have available.

  • All pets must be in a secure carrier (one pet per carrier) or on leash with a securely fit harness or collar.

  • Your pet must be dropped off and picked up within the time frames listed below. 

  • All pets are required to be rabies vaccinated at the time of surgery, if four months of age or older; if your pet is not currently vaccinated for rabies, or you do not bring proof of rabies vaccination at the time of drop off, your pet will receive a rabies vaccination at the time of surgery for a charge of $15.  Please bring in your animals rabies vaccination certificate as proof of rabies as we will not accept rabies tags as proof.

  • Pre-surgical bloodwork is required for all dogs 8 years and older and all cats 10 years and older for a charge of $50.

  • All pets will receive a small green tattoo at or near the surgical site to indicate they have been sterilized.

  • Payment is due at the time of pick up; credit/debit cards and cash accepted.

Drop off between 7:30am – 8:15am / Pick up between 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Feral/Community cats:

Drop off between 8:15am – 9:00am / Pick up between 5:00pm – 5:30pm

Feral/Community Cat Information

We offer spay/neuter services for feral and barn cats at our monthly spay/neuter clinic.  Please call 970-506-9550 during normal business hours to schedule appointment.

  • $30 Includes spay/neuter, rabies and FVRCP vaccines

  • Surgery day drop off between 8:15am -- 9:00 am / Pick up between 5:00pm -- 5:30pm

  • All cats will be ear tipped

  • All cats must arrive in secure traps/carriers; only one cat per carrier/trap

  • All cats must be kept in their trap/carrier or housed inside overnight and released the following morning --        DO NOT release any cat outside on the same day as surgery!

** This service is free of charge for Evans residents; proof of residency is required**

We have a limited number of traps available for rent (deposit required).
